Have you considered the qualifications that are necessary to help you transition from academia to a non-academic career? In this session, panelists from a variety of NGOs will discuss the kinds of skills, research experiences, academic courses, and other qualifications that are sought after in prospective candidates for work with international organizations. The panelists will share tips for maximizing your academic experiences, networking, and getting job interviews. After a general question and answer session, participants will divide into small groups to talk with the panelists whose work most closely aligns with their career interests.
