Are you planning for a career as a faculty member at a college or university? Are you currently working in a non-academic position but would like to consider a faculty post? If so, this workshop will help you prepare yourself as you begin searching for positions and weighing your options when offered a job. We will share lessons learned about publishing and presenting your doctoral research, making realistic assessments of positions for which you might apply, visiting campus as a job candidate, and negotiating a job offer. There will be ample time for you to ask questions of the workshop facilitators, who have served on numerous search committees and have advised many students who have become faculty members.
